Rita A. Atria's Obituary
Rita A. Atria, age 88, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 8, 2016, with her loving family by her side, in Estelle’s House of Marion County. She was born April 3, 1928 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Vincent and Carmela DeMarco. Rita worked as a medical secretary. She was a very active member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Atria in 1994. She is survived by her loving family; children, Peter V. Atria (Sharon) of Ocala, FL and Carmel LaRue (James) of Gainesville, FL; brother, Albert DeMarco of Ocala, FL and grandchildren, Steven and Sarah LaRue, Loren Atria, Megan, Dannielle, Joseph Trott and Heather Diffey and four great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 5:00 p.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street, Gainesville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
