Ricky Ray Johnson Sr.'s Obituary
Ricky Ray Johnson, Sr., age 58 of Archer, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015. He was born September 11, 1956 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Roger and Coy Woods Johnson.
Ricky graduated from Southwood High School in Shreveport. He became an auxiliary police officer in 1979 and made Lieutenant in 1983. On October 22, 1983 Ricky married Regina Plemmons. They moved to Florida in 1987. He worked in construction, before becoming self-employed and a shop owner. He loved his family and riding his Harley.
He was preceded in death by his fathers-in-law, Barton Plemmons, Sr. and Bill Thompson.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Regina Plemmons Johnson; son, Ricky Johnson, Jr.; daughter, Renee Lane (Steven); son, Cory Johnson (Steven); daughter, Kristi Johnson; parents, Roger and Coy Johnson; sister, Phylis Linder (Terry); mothers-in-law, Patricia Thompson and Alice Plemmons; brothers-in-law, Bart Plemmons, Jr. (Jo-Ellen), Bret Plemmons (Pam) and Bobby Thompson; grandchildren, Clayton, Kaylyn, Karlee, Brian and Danielle Johnson, Alexie Burke, Chrissy and Jr. Jernigan, Mason, Hunter, Liam and Grace Lane.
