I want to say, I'm sorry for your loss of your dad Gene He drove he the hearse for my grandma and grandpa Watkins funeral

I was raised up in Hawthorne I was a little older than Gene, I knew his Daddy he went to school with my Mother, The Williams was like family Dick conducted the funeral for my Grandpa in 1950, I think Williams-Thomas funeral home has buried just about everybody that has passed away in my family. I know I'm going to miss joking with him, I feel so sorry for the family. Gene was about the finest man I knew, He really helped me alot when my wife passed away. I really can't say enough about him. Just that I was glad to be a close friend with him.
Sorry to hear of the loss of Gene. I knew him many years while in Law Enforcement in Gainesville. Condolences to the family. Bennette Poole
My dearest friend Vonda I am so sorry for your loss. I know you and Gene loved each other very much and were meant to find one another. I only met Gene a few times but he was always very kind and I knew how much he loved you. My prayers are with you and your family and his.
Love You,
Gina Mills-Nichols
Mrs. Williams,
I only had the pleasure of meeting Gene the one time in Asheville. It was an honor to meet him then, and on the few phone conversations that we had. However I felt like I knew him well. He was a funeral director up one side and down the other. You and your family are in our prayers.
