Richard William "Bill" Davis' Obituary
Richard William “Bill” Davis, 73, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Micanopy, Florida. He was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on August 24, 1952, to Hugh Richardson and Jacqueline Bonura Davis.
Bill was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who truly enjoyed the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all who knew him.
He is preceded by his parents. Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years, Catherine “Angel” Davis; his sons, John Davis and Richard Davis (Angela); his sisters, Rita Ahlschwede, Debbie Davis, Mary Jo Beck, and Gigi Davis; his brothers, Mike Davis, Paul Davis, Hugh Davis, and Patrick Davis; his grandchildren, Buck Shobris, Sophie Shobris, Jack Shobris, Adalyn Davis, and Catherine Davis; and his great grandchildren, Wrenly Shobris and Jenson Shobris.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., with Fr. Mac Hill officiating.
Bill was a blue jeans kind of guy, so casual attire is requested
