To the most dedicated gardener to his circular orange flower beds I never had the privilege to meet, Mr. Fletcher. His devotion and love for his plants caught my eye as I drove west from Miami on Newberry Road to visit my family who lives nearby. Sporting a long sleeve flannel shirt, I oftentimes saw him pulling weeds and simply connecting to his flowering plants. Mr. Fletcher has reminded me of Poet Laureate Stanley Kunitz who wrote poetry and tended gardens - notably in his book The Wild Braid. To the family, his wife Mary and children, my most sincere condolences for your loss. To Mr. Fletcher, may you continue to tend to your garden in the fields beyond. One day, we shall meet. Until then, rest in peace, Mr. Fletcher. Martha M
