Hugh and I always enjoyed annual lunches with Dick and Kay in North Carolina when we visited my sister. Even went to the Campbell Folk Arts campus together when we ventured into Georgia. And then there was the time we were probably the oldest "kids" at Disney World. Miss you both.
Our fond memories of Dick include his visits to Ohio with Kay. He could always be counted on to take on a "fix-it" project at the OOC. He gave me my first Gator ride when Don and I visited in Georgia. We enjoyed his
generous smile and sense of humor

Richard "Dick" Libby was a high school classmate of mine. We graduated together from
Winslow High School in Winslow, ME in 1952.Dick lived in the south part of Winslow and I I lived in the north end (about 1mile apart !), but we became good friends when we entered WHS. Dick was a very friendly guy - seemed to always have a smile on his face - mature beyond his age. His woodworking skills made me very jealous in Shop class in high school ! He and Kay loved to come to our Class Reunions.
Dick, You probably already are turning out bowls, etc. RIP

I was always envious of his roller skating skills.. he lived with his uncles with whom I visited each evening and played cribbage, the teen hangout for all the guys on Bay Street. He was my trusted driver to the skating rink.will always remember his willingness to repair my deck rails at the house in West Bath. He couldn’t stay away from working with wood. He was a great friend.
