Ricardo Benedicto Gemora Jr.'s Obituary
Ricardo Benedicto Gemora, Jr., age 90 of Gainesville passed away Friday, April 19, 2019. He was born March 31, 1929 in Ilog, Negros Occidental, Philippines to Dolores Olmeda Benedicto and Ricardo Cruz Gemora, Sr.
Mr. Gemora was a Civil Engineer. He moved to Gainesville in 2009 from the Philippines. He enjoyed watching boxing. He was very sociable and enjoyed visiting with people. He had a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, DaLisay; six children, Jaime Gemora, Elda Quijano, Ricardo Gemora III, Jonathan Gemora, Francis Gemora and Joselito Gemora; four sisters, Luri Gemora, Norma Dollahan, Evengeline Pawra and Claribel Garcia; twenty-one grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Victoria Arceo.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., at the Sorrento Clubhouse, 5026 NW 21st Drive, Gainesville.
