I’m so sorry that we all have lost Angel. We worked together in the early eighties. When I was pregnant, he insured that I had rest periods during our work day. He gently cared for me. I will always remember his kindness Carta Scofield
We're sorry for your loss. I met Angel at Fort Polk, LA when we worked together in the Office of the Inspector General. When he heard that I was building a new barn he put his tools in the car and came to DeRidder, LA to help build the barn. (It's still standing, after several major storms, so we obviously built it right.)He was almost as proud of that barn as he was of the tree house he built in Leesville, LA for his son. He and Lila drove their camper to Punta Gorda, FL., after we moved here, and stayed several days. We made several trips to Gainesville, FL to visit with them. We stayed in touch with Angel via telephone and mail until we lost him a few years ago when he moved. We remember him fondly.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I fondly remember Angel and family (especially Danny) at Lake Forest Baptist Church where he did so much. He was certainly a blessing. He was a fine Christian and fine gentleman. May God cover you with His comfort and peace. Alice (Campbell) Thomas
