Raymond "Shevy" Shevalier's Obituary
Raymond “Shevy” Shevalier, age 72 of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 at his home. Shevy was born September 15, 1943 in Hornell, New York to Nelson and Dorothy Dailey Shevalier. He retired from Gainesville Police Department as Master Sergeant.
Shevy loved playing baseball, golf, and racquetball, he was an avid bass fishermen and hunter. He had a great sense of humor.
Shevy was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Shevalier, son, Scott Shevalier and sister, Linda Stohlberg. He is survived by his sons, Shawn Shevalier of Jacksonville, FL and Chris Shevalier and his wife K.C. of Tampa, FL.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Memorial Park West. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make memorials to the Police Benevolent Association, 300 E Brevard St, Tallahassee, FL 32301.
