Raymond "Ray" Frey's Obituary
Raymond “Ray” Donald Frey, age 83 of Hawthorne passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021. He was born July 6, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to Harold Waldo and Gertrude Phyllis Brenton Frey.
He proudly served 8 years in the Army National Guard. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather (Papa). Ray did whatever it took to support and take care of his family. He was a painter most of his life. He and Dee Dee loved to square dance.
He is survived by his children, Wanda Beard, Harold “Ray” Frey, Richard Frey and Scott Frey; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years Dolores “Dee Dee” Frey, his four brothers, Richard, Lawrence, Edward and Ephriam Frey, sister, Delores Wilson “Dodo” and his parents.
