Tony and I were very saddened to hear of Aunt Raye's passing. We have so many fond memories -
A personal memory that I will always treasure was on a sunny day in 1987. Aunt Raye called me up out of the blue and asked if I was free to join her and see a movie in the middle of the day. I was and when I asked which movie, she told me it was an Aunt Raye approved one - we saw 'Mannequin' with Andrew McCarthy and Kim Cattrall. We were only a few in the theatre and had a great time.
Then in 1992 a memory that stands out for both Tony and I is of Aunt Raye and Uncle Jim giving the readings at our Wedding. We were very honored and blessed that they did so. I've uploaded a couple photos to share. We chose "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" by Starship as our Wedding Song, which was the main theme for 'Mannequin' - so I will forever remember my husband when that song plays, and it will forever remind me of Aunt Raye and the movie 'Mannequin' we shared together one bright sunny afternoon.
I can't tell you how very blessed we have been to know and experience Aunt Raye - because you didn't just know her, you experienced the depth of her love, faith, kindness and her being. We are so so very sorry for your loss and our hearts go out to all of you at this time. Keep her memories close and alive in yourselves - I know Tony and I will.
God Bless.

Dear Jim, Kim, Pam & Jay, I have so many lovely memories of Raye and all of you. You all made my first years in Rome, Italy, wonderful! Raye was an incredibly nice person with a beautiful smile and I will remember her always as a classy woman and someone I admired. Please accept my condolences for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Michelle Thomas Rapier. ❤️🙏🏻
