Raul Serrano Leon, 39, of High Springs, FL, ascended to eternal peace on January 9, 2025.
Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, on April 11, 1985, to Raul Serrano and Maria Leon, Raul's life was a testament to his unwavering passion and dedication. He was a loving brother and a loving son. Raul pursued his dreams in Cayey, Puerto Rico, where he earned his certificate in electricity and attended barber school, laying the foundation for a life of purpose.
Raul's entrepreneurial spirit led him to Florida, where he obtained his barber's license and co-founded a thriving shop, inspiring countless lives through his craft.
In 2012, Raul married his beloved wife, Jadira Serrano, and together they welcomed two precious children, Jailany, born in 2011, and Raul Jr., born in 2017.
Raul's perseverance and determination enabled him to achieve the milestone of purchasing his first home in 2020.
His love for working on cars and racing was only surpassed by his devotion to his family and community.
As a barber, Raul's impact was immeasurable, touching hearts and transforming lives through his compassion, humility, and kindness. His legacy is a shining testament to the power of love, hard work, and determination.
Raul's radiant smile and infectious laughter will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jadira, daughter Jailany, and son Raul Jr.
A celebration to honor Raul’s life will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Anthem Church, 2902 SW 75th St, Gainesville, FL 32608. Pastor Jon Birkmire will officiate. Please wear Raul’s favorite colors, red and black.
