Ralph C. Hansen's Obituary
Ralph C. Hansen affectionately known to his grandchildren as “Grippy” went to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his family on Friday, May 13, 2022. Ralph was born on December 23, 1942, in Orange, New Jersey to Christian A. and Kirsten Johnson Hansen.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army serving in the Panama Canal as a Chaplain’s assistant during the Vietnam Era. Ralph’s passion in life was to serve people, and he found much joy in helping and encouraging people. In 2012, Ralph started the company called The Caring Coach in New Jersey. He was very quick wit, goofy, and made people laugh, right until the end.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Lois, children, Christa Marie Praschan (Craig), Suzanne Ruth Agliata (Jack), Mark Christian Hansen (Dina); foster son, Adrian Perez; 8 grandchildren, Carley, Nathan, Matthew, Taylor, Sarah, Peyton, Paris, and Raina.
A celebration of Ralph’s life will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Westside Baptist Church 10000 W. Newberry Rd Gainesville, Florida with Dr. David Chauncey. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Westside Baptist Church https://westsidebaptist.org/ service will be live streamed at vimeo.com
