Rajesh G. Patel, age 66 of Gainesville passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023. He was born March 1, 1956 in Borsad, Gujarat, India to Gunvantbhai Patel and Kamlaben G. Patel.
Rajesh was a devoted husband and father. A very hard worker all his life. He loved to travel. His family was everything to him and his granddaughter was his pride and joy.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Hansa; sons, “Raj” Hardik Patel (Swetha) and “Nick” Dhavnik Patel; granddaughter, Sanvi Patel; sisters, Rashimi Amin, Vandana Amin, Savoj Ben Patel, Kailashben Patel, Alkaben Patel; brothers, Arvindbhai (Bhikubhai) Patel, Arumbhai Patel and Nanesh bhai Patel and his two dogs, Smokey and Forstie.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Downtown, 404 North Main Street.
