Phillip Oscar Harmer's Obituary
Phillip Oscar Harmer, 58, of Branford, FL passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Phillip was born June 18, 1964, in Yale Michigan to Clayton Harmer and Anne Denniston. He graduated from Cass City High School in 1982. Phillip attended Sante Fe College to earn his Radiology Technician degree. He later earned a BS from Ottawa University and continued his education to become a Radiation Therapist. He practiced as a Radiation Therapist for most of his lifetime. Phil was known to be gentle and kind while deeply caring for his patients. He met and married the love of his life, Hong Li 35 years ago. Together, they raised a son and a daughter. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed hunting, hiking, traveling, concerts, football, and coaching wrestling.
He is survived by his loving wife, Hong Li, his children Jacob (Lindsey) Harmer and Brooke Harmer, 3 brothers Clayton (Beth) Harmer, Joe (GiGi) Harmer, Bryan (Brandi) Harmer, sisters Mary (Eric) Matheson, Theresa (David) Stephens, Nephews: Chad Harmer, Tony Harmer, Ryan Harmer, Nick Harmer, Brett Stephens, Justin Harmer, Austin Stephens, Chez Neal, Gregg Matheson, Daniel Harmer, Wiliam Harmer. Nieces: Rachel Huver, Brittany Harmer, Heather Matheson, Sophia Harmer, Alison Harmer, and Nicky Frazer. All who knew and loved him will miss his presence in their lives.
A private family service will be held in his memory.
