Philip Audell Bristow's Obituary
Philip Audell Bristow, age 75, found eternal peace Tuesday, April 16th. He was a farmer all his life, with an expertise he loved to share with others. He served 19 years on the Alachua County Cattlemen's Board of Directors. His support for FFA and Alachua County Youth Fair was his passion. During his younger years - he was awarded FFA State of Florida Farming Degree and the American Farming Degree. He worked for Gold Kist and Southern States Farm Supply and then retired 25 years ago to farm full time for himself and others. He was always willing to lend a hand or go above and beyond to help those in need. He loved to dance, sing and laugh through life.
He is survived by his daughters Ginger (RIck) Stanford and Sara (Luis) Andino. His grandchildren Courtney, Erin, Catianna and Landon. His brothers Teddy and Ray Bristow and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
A celebration of Philip’s life will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Orange Heights Baptist Church, 16700 NE State Road 26Hawthorne, with Pastor Aaron Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. The burial will follow in Hawthorne Cemetery, 23350 Southeast Hawthorne Road, Hawthorne. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Alachua County Youth Fair & Livestock Show
