Peter C. Swebilius Sr.'s Obituary
Peter C. Swebilius Sr., age 87, went to be with his lord and savior surrounded by his family early morning August 7, 2021, Gainesville, Fl.
He was born in Hartford, Connecticut on June 10, 1934, to Gordon Gustav and Beatrice Dietz Swebilius.
Peter met the love of his life, Marjorie Studstill when they were both sixteen years old, and married shortly after. Pete was adored by his wife for 71 years.
For many years Peter and Marjorie enjoyed making crafts and traveling to many craft shows. They were known as Pete-Mar Crafts. They enjoyed meeting many people over the years at the craft shows.
Peter was so proud of his Swedish heritage and of his family. He had a life he loved, and he was the sweetest.
Survived by his loving wife, Marjorie Studstill Swebilius; children, Christine Ledger, Cynthia Solomon and her husband Greg, Susan Beckham her husband Michael, Beth Langford, Peter Swebilius Jr .and his wife Beth); brothers, Paul Swebilius and his wife Jean, David Swebilius and his wife Joy; Eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Preceded by a sister, Cynthia Zimmer, Brothers, Carl, Gordon, John Swebilius.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
