I am so sorry to be late hearing this. Paula and I went to high school together. We'd stayed in touch over Facebook the past few years. I realized that I hadn't seen her post in several days, and so I went to look and saw that she had died. She was someone I liked and admired.
Dear Chuck,
It was with great sadness we read about Paula's passing. I thought so much of Paula and had great respect for her. She was a good friend and I feel fortunate to have known her. Even though we didn't see each other very often, when we did it was wonderful spending time catching up on how you were doing.
It sounds like both of you made many very special and happy memories during you time together. I hope those happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time and help ease the pain you are going through now.
