Paula Rae Stapleton's Obituary
Paula Rae Stapleton, 61, resident of Gainesville, Florida, died Monday, February 10, 2014, in the E. T. York Haven Hospice Care Center, following a long illness.
Mrs. Stapleton was born on November 6, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio, grew up in New Brunswick, New Jersey where she lived before moving to and living most of her life in Houston, Texas, where she worked as a software specialist programmer. Paula moved to Wisconsin in 2000 and then to Gainesville in 2011. She enjoyed bird watching, sewing, crocheting and puzzles, and was an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Barraclough.
She is survived by one daughter, Blair Elizabeth Stapleton, of Waukesha, WI; one son, Christopher Barrett Stapleton; her mother, Yvonne Barraclough; and a sister, Barrie Kobb, all of Gainesville, and her first grandchild, Luis due in May, along with several loving aunts and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 2:00 P. M., in the Chapel of Grace United Methodist Church, with Rev. Rick Thompson, officiating. Interment will be in her family plot in East Ridge Cemetery, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
