Paul Arnell Sullivan's Obituary
Paul Arnell Sullivan, age 66, of Alachua, FL passed away Friday, March 1, 2024. He was born November 17, 1957, in Ocala, FL to Hulan Hansel and June Ann Edwards Sullivan.
Paul and his brother Noel owned Discount Tires of Gainesville, which was founded by their father in 1972.
Paul was a deeply devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, loyal brother, and true friend to many. His passing was sudden and unexpected.
Paul loved spending time with his family, fishing, and traveling with his love of 47 years, Cindy. Paul enjoyed history, valued the outdoors, and cared greatly about his relationships with his customers.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Roddenberry Sullivan: daughter, Kelly Ann Mietling (Andrew Mietling): brother, Noel Winton Sullivan (Debbie Orton Sullivan); grandchildren, Evelyn and Elsie.
His friends and family are invited to share happy memories and celebrate Paul’s life on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Westarea.
Flowers can be sent to Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Westarea for the Celebration of Life & Memorial Service; addressed to the Sullivan Family. Thereafter or in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
