Paul Ewing Ehrlich's Obituary
Paul Ewing Ehrlich, 74, of Gainesville entered into God's kingdom on October 30, 2022. He was born August 8, 1948, in Schenectady, New York to Richard and Eleanor Ehrlich.
Paul, a devoted husband to his wife Norma Sue for thirty-four years, is also survived by two sons Christopher (Heidi) and Ryan (Kendall), daughter Tracy (Page), grandchildren, sister Joan (Gordon), and many nieces and nephews.
The Ox, as Paul was affectionately known, was a retired University of Florida Professor of Mathematics and published author who loved teaching and research for over 30 years. He received his Bachelor of Science from Harvard University and his Doctorate Degree in Mathematics from SUNY at Stony Brook University.
Papa Paul was a faithful member of Westside Baptist Church and active member of The Gideons International for over 27 years.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 5th at Westside Baptist Church located at 10000 West Newberry Rd, Gainesville, Florida. Services will be officiated by Pastor David Bump. Burial services will immediately follow the memorial service at Westside.
