I spoke to Stephanie recently and learned of Patrick's passing. I am so very sorry. I would see Patrick at Victoria's birthday parties. Our kids were around the same age. He was a very sweet guy. Sending love and prayers to Stephanie and Family.
I very recently tried to 'friend' Patrick on Facebook. Soon afterward, I saw his obituary on a funeral home website. I'm beyond saddened. Mr. Hughey, I'm so sorry for your loss. I used to work with Patrick years ago when he was still in high school. We worked together at a funeral home. That is where I first met Patrick. I remember being impressed with how fast he learned the job for such an unusual line of work, how polite and polished he was with clientele, and he had the added advantage of looking sharp in a suit! Please know that I was proud to have him with me on any detail he and I were assigned to work together. He has crossed my mind a number of times over the years since we parted ways, but I'd like you to know he's always thought of warmly and I for one will miss him. I regret that I didn't know him better. God bless.
