Patricia Ann "Patsy" Tillman's Obituary
Patricia Ann “Patsy” Tillman, age 81 and lifelong resident of Orange Heights, Florida, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 in E.T. York Hospice Care Center. She was born August 10, 1932 in Orange Heights to Floyd E., Sr. and Neva E. Rushing Tillman. Patsy was her family’s “Special Angel”. She had a big heart and was a very loving person. She was a member of Orange Heights Baptist Church.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Neva, sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Art Brown and brothers, Dick Tillman and Billy Tillman.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara “B.J.” Joiner (David) of Alachua, FL; brothers, Sonny Tillman (Lucille) of High Springs, FL and Bobby Tillman (Marsha) of Lake Asbury, FL; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends in Orange Heights.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., in The Church at Orange Heights, 16700 NE State Road 26, with Pastor Steve Matchett officiating. Interment will follow in Saluda Cemetery in Orange Heights. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are under the care of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Downtown. Those who wish may make memorial donations to Haven Hospice, E.T. York Care Center, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606.
