Patricia "Pat" (Morgan) Shores' Obituary
Patricia “Pat” (Morgan) Shores, 1948-2023, passed away in her sleep on Saturday, October 21st in Gainesville, FL.
Born in Jasper, TX, the daughter of Gene and Lou (Woods) Morgan. Mrs. Shores graduated from MacArthur High School in Irving, TX and worked as a banker until moving to Gainesville, FL in 1988. For many years, Pat enjoyed volunteering at the schools her children attended as well as at her church. She will be remembered for her kind and welcoming spirit, sense of humor and hospitality.
Mrs. Shores was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Stephen Shores.
She is survived by her children Jeff Shores, Shannon Clements, Jeremy Clements, grandsons Nolan Shores, Jonathan Clements, Lucas Clements, Andrew Clements, granddaughter Emma Clements, great-grandson River Shores, brother Buddy (Carolyn) Morgan, and many friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at The Rock of Gainesville at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 2, 2023.
