Patricia Sue Ellenburg's Obituary
Patricia (Sue) Ellenburg age 80 passed away peacefully at her home Shadow Ridge Farm in High Springs, Florida on January 23, 2023. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 28, 1942, to Jerry Byrd and Edna Fouts Byrd.
Sue enjoyed spending time with her family, going on long walks, and taking care of her horses. She loved all kinds of music and dancing to music from the 1950s. For many years she played tennis at Westside Park with her best friend Peggy Short and was a booster for the Lady Gator Tennis Team. She was an amazing Mother and Grandmother and will be dearly missed.
Sue is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Al Ellenburg and her brother Connie Byrd. Sue is survived by daughters, Sonya Smith (Ricky) and Karen Whittle (Greg Parker); son Keith Ellenburg (Myra Leigh); grandchildren Kyle Smith, Kasey Smith, Dalton Whittle, Dillon Whittle, Haleigh Sanders, Audrey Ellenburg, Emma Ellenburg and two great-grandchildren Kasey Smith Jr. and Laurel Sanders, sisters-in-law Jean Byrd, Yvonne Stover and Rebecca Young, lifelong friend Judy Mclemore and many nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
