Patricia Anna Deering, age 88, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2022, in Gainesville, Florida. She was born on December 20, 1933, in Springfield, Illinois to Frank and Gloria Spam Schafer.
She loved flowers, jewelry, books, watching westerns, and reading. Patricia was a homemaker and loved her family more than anything.
She is survived by her five children; daughter; Theresa Rosenbaum, son; James Allen Carroll, daughters; Anita Tucker, Tina Dennis, and Lisa Edwardo, twenty-two grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter; Elaina Thomas, sisters; Maureen, and Gloria Vance, brothers; Tom Schafer and Bill Schafer.
