Patricia Ann Carlisle's Obituary
Patricia Ann Carlisle, known by most as “Pat,” peacefully passed away in her home on Monday, March 25, 2024. Born April 12, 1946, in Alachua, Fl to Ercell and Mabel Lindsey, Pat was a lifelong student of learning, avid gardener, amateur genealogist, and never met a stranger. Pat was always welcoming with ‘honey’ and ‘sugar’.
She was a longtime member of the Archer Church of Christ. Pat was also a longtime member of the Alachua County Farmer’s Market where she was known for her salad mixes, edible flowers, and fresh fruits. We take solace in knowing that she is reunited with family members who went before and whom she never stopped loving.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Eddie Ronald Carlisle; children Rhonda and partner John Paul Bass; Darrick Carlisle; Matthew and Wife Jessica Carlisle; son-in-law Leon Sweat Jr.; and Carolyn and husband Nick Donathan; brother, David Lindsey; sisters, Marie Webb; and Janice and husband Jerry Langford; and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Monica Lynn Sweat, her parents Ercell and Mabel Lindsey, brother Harold Lindsey, and many loved family members.
A viewing will be held Thursday, March 28th, 2024, at William Thomas Westarea at 823 NW 143rd Street, Newberry from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held Friday, March 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Don Holt officiating.
