Patricia A. Roe's Obituary
Patricia A. Roe, 79, longtime resident of Citra, Florida, died Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Ocala HCA Hospital.
Mrs. Roe was born on July 7, 1944, to the late Charles and Lillian Henry. She lived in Orlando, and Swainsboro, Georgia before settling in Citra almost 40 years ago. She was married to Mr. Vernon Roe, who preceded her in death in 2019. Mrs. Roe had worked for many years in the drapery department of Chariot Eagle, her job allowed her to enjoy her favorite activity, which was sewing. She was a longtime member of the Lochloosa United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Henry, a sister, Wanda Taylor, and two sisters-in-law, Jeannette Evans and Shirley Raines.
She is survived by her son, Vernon A. "Rocky" Roe, Jr., of Ft. Lauderdale; one grandson, Elijah A. Roe; by a brother Lynn Tucker and his fiancée Noreen Killebrew, of Petersburg, VA; by two sisters, Charline (Roscoe) Turnage, of Monks Corner, SC and Sharon (Robert) Cribb, of Claxton, GA. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 2:00 P. M., in the Hawthorne Cemetery.
