Pamela J. Thompson's Obituary
Pam went to be with her heavenly father on September 26, 2016. She passed away at North Florida Regional Medical Center surrounded by her husband and two children. She was born on March 18, 1960 in Ft. Pierce, FL to Leon and Christine Frazier Fowler. She taught special needs and visually impaired students for the Levy County School Board for 30 years. Pam was very active in the Newberry High School Band with her daughter Amanda. She loved to travel, especially to the beach.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Fowler.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Anthony “Tony” Thompson of Newberry; children, Nicholas of Gainesville and Amanda Thompson of Newberry; her mother, Christine Fowler of Ft. Pierce, and her brothers Alan and Greg Fowler. She was a wonderful teacher, mother, sister, daughter, wife, and friend.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, October 3, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at The Family Church, 2022 SW 122nd St, Gainesville, FL 32607, with Dr. Calvin Carr officiating. Interment will follow in Countryside Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street.
