Pamala Evelyn Hall Smith's Obituary
Pamala Evelyn Hall Smith, age 60 of Newberry, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at E. T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville. She was born March 9, 1958 in Lebanon, Tennessee to TJ and Sara Louise Robinson Hall. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Pam graduated from Gainesville High School in 1976. She met her husband, Keith in Watertown, TN while they were both on vacation visiting from Florida. She homeschooled their three children, helped start Countryside Homeschool Group, and wrote a monthly newsletter. Pam loved the lord, she sang in the choir for years, taught women’s Sunday school class at Countryside Baptist, and helped with youth at Grace Baptist. She spent most family vacations camping. She would bring a book along, and read several chapters each night to the kids before bedtime. She was a great reader, and made it feel like you were there.
Pam was preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her husband, Keith Bryan Smith; son, Jason Smith (Andrea Reali) and granddaughter, Jemma; son, Kevin (Casey) Smith and grandchildren, Steele, Bennett, and Layla; daughter, Emily (Jon) Nichols and grandsons, Shawn and Eli; and brother, Buddy (Julie) Hall and niece, Hannah.
