Dear OJ,
There are no words to truly express how much you are loved. You were a champion and mentor to all of us, sharing your funny perspective on life and how to truly live it, teaching everyone by your example how to take care of and love those who are important to you, and how to be a straight up, honest, caring friend. You are one of a kind my friend. You have touched a tremendous amount of lives through the years. You and Peggy were the dynamic duo of taking care of young people who needed your guidance and love. Peggy, We are so very sorry to hear about OJ! Dee told me he was ill. He was a great guy and we always loved visiting with you both at all our Carr family get-togethers! I'm sure our moms, Wanda and Betty, welcomed him with open arms! Tom always enjoyed talking to OJ when he officiated his football games. We wish we could be there for the service! Coach, as we knew Owen as a friend and neighbor at Hibiscis on Anastasia Island was such a gentle, sweet guy. We’ll miss him terribly and send our prayers and good thoughts to Peggy and the family. Bob and Cynthia.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family during this most difficult time. I really enjoyed not only working with Owen at Clay Electric, but watching him coach the young boys including our son’s football team at the Boys Club.

Owen was a good man, and will be missed by many.

Strange, I was just telling my wife about playing at Boys Club yesterday. I hadnt thought about those days in ages, and it just came up. Had some great memories of those days. Graham taking out five players like a moose. Ted Bullard carrying five people on his back into end zone. OJ was a great coach and had a great impact on allot of kids. Thoughts with Graham and the family.

Lord,Odie the many fond memories. From drilling a well at Bobby's,. changing out a transformer near Newan's Lake to Graham pulling the sticker off your truck tag. Way to many for this space. The hours spent working trouble are just a few. Thanks for them all.
