Ola Mae Hall Holder's Obituary
Ola Mae Hall Holder, age 94, of Blue Rock, formerly of Gainesville, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 17th, 2014 at the Yancey House. A native of Gainesville, she was a daughter of the late Zaphen and Bessie Geouge Hall. She was also preceded in death by sisters: Lola Grace and Ruby Hilliard Wilson; brothers: James Ewing Hall, Mills Hall and Kenneth Ransom Hall. Ola Mae loved cooking, canning, flowers and visiting with her friends.
Surviving are her daughters: Juanita Burnett of Summerville, FL and Rema Ogle of Blue Rock; son, Elmer Holder, Jr. of Gainesville, FL; grandchildren: Jeannette Petty, Timothy Burnett and Charles Holder; five great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street, with Rev. Ray Debusk officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
