I was blessed to see Obie as a young man loving, kind, caring living life to it's fullest! RIP Obie. Condolences to LeeAnna,Thaddaus, the Roberts and Pike family. May God wrap his loving comforting arms around you. His spirit will always be with us.

I became friends with the young man 2/19 at the Sea Scape motel in Daytona Beach. He was the most outgoing guy I ever met. We became friends on facebook and he always had some cool fishing stuff on facebook along with other stuff. Yea he was proud of his work on the systems he put together on the job and seemed to know his stuff. His last post was a baseball player making a play that reminded me of a play Roberto Clemente made in the world series back in the 70s. He never responded like he usually does and it made me wonder. Now I know why. His family and friends are going to miss him. He just had a unique glow about him that made him a special person. My sympathy to all close to him, as he will be missed. Obi was one of my absolute best friends. I met him in 2017/2018 and by 2019, I considered him one of the top people in my circle. I knew I could always call him, day or night, for anything. He would drop whatever he was doing and come help. And he did! Many times! He truly was very very close to my heart, especially these past few months after a separate tragedy had struck my life. There is certainly a hole in my heart now, I will miss him for the rest of my own life.
But I am just grateful that I did get the opportunity to meet him, the opportunity to get close to him, and the opportunity to love him while he was here in FL.
I pray for him everyday, that he may Rest in Peace, now free from pain and sorrows of this world, and for his family and close friends that they may too find peace.
His smile and charisma could light up the whole room, and I will always hold on to my memories of him.

I was fortunate to meet Obadiah Eli Roberts when he was three (3) years old and I have been a close family friend from that day. "Obi" as he was fondly known, was a jovial, fearless, loving and friendly young man.
I was devastated when LeeAnna called to relay the sad news.
Obi, Rest in Peace in your heavenly father's arms. My family extends heartfelt sympathy to LeeAnna & Thaddaeus, the Pike and Roberts families.
