Nunnie Mae Robinett's Obituary
Nunnie Mae Robinett, age 83 of Newberry, FL, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018. She was born April 11, 1935 in Gainesville, FL to George W. and Doris M. Cameron Drawdy, Sr.
Nunnie graduated from Gainesville High School in 1954. She worked at McCrory’s Five and Dime and Wilson Department Store. She retired from Alachua County School Board where she worked in food services at Littlewood Elementary and then Eastside High School.
She is survived by her daughter, Doris Mae Hodge and husband Rick; sister, Winnie Lee Neal; brother, George W. Drawdy, Jr. and wife Alice; grandchildren, Katie Hodge Futch and husband Levis Futch (Bubba) and Paul Hodge and wife Victoria S. Hodge; great grandchildren, Preston Lane Hodge, Braxton Levi Futch, Tanner Reed Hodge and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sister, Elizabeth Ann Standridge and her husband David and brother-in-law, J.R. Neal, Jr.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Meadows East, 3700 SE Hawthorne Rd. For those who wish, donations may be made to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606.
