Norma Weseman's Obituary
Norma Killinger Weseman, 90, of Gainesville, passed away June 5, 2022.
She was born in Ames, IA, to the late Gordon and Luella Killinger. She had two sisters, Donna Canova (Levy), both deceased, and Edie Thompson (Bob).
Norma lived in Gainesville her entire adult life and enjoyed Gator athletics, reading, quilting, bowling, golf, and her many small dogs over the years. A graduate of Santa Fe Community College, she was a registered nurse working in surgery at Alachua General, then Shands, Hospital.
She is survived by four children, Judy Weseman, Gary Weseman (Donna), Ted Weseman (Connie) and Linda Weseman; 8 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren and special stepson Stanley (Leigh) Munson; one step-granddaughter and one step-greatgrandson.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Meadows Central Cemetery, 4100 NW 39th Ave., with Rev. Ben Richards officiating. A brief reception will follow at Trinity United Methodist Church Atrium, 4000 NW 53rd Ave., Gainesville, 32653.
The family requests no flowers.
