Nicholas Logan "Nick" Westmoreland's Obituary
Nicholas Logan “Nick” Westmoreland, age 30 of High Springs went to his home in heaven on Monday, August 26, 2019. He was born March 21, 1989 in Gainesville, FL to Michelle O’Brien and Wade Kimball Westmoreland.
Nick loved the mountains and the outdoors. Nick loved going to the beach and boogie boarding and just sitting on the beach relaxing. He loved the Gators and everyone he came in contact with.
He is survived by his father, Wade K. Westmoreland (Melissa); mother, Michelle Westmoreland O’Brien; son, Joshua Westmoreland; maternal grandmother, Melba O’Brien; maternal Grandfather, Hal O'Brien of Daytona Beach; sister, Alex Mack (Tony); nephew, Jacxtin Mack; step-sisters, Danielle Weiss (Mike), Brittany Whitcraft and Ashley Whitcraft; aunt, Shaune O'Brien of High Springs; uncle, Kevin O'Brien; uncle, Wayne Westmoreland of Alachua and many cousins
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bobby and Helen Westmoreland of Alachua, his uncle, Bo Westmoreland and his aunt, Bonnie O'Brien.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, August 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace at Fort Clarke United Methodist Church, 9325 W Newberry Rd, Gainesville, with Pastor Rick Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street.
