Nellie Francis Welsh's Obituary
Nellie Francis Welsh, age 76 of Gainesville, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014. She was born August 1, 1938 in Stewartsville, Kentucky to Willie and Francis Pearl Wainscott McCormick. Nellie was a loving mother; her family was her life. She enjoyed gardening and she loved the Lord. She was able to realize her dream of living in Florida for the past 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis John Welsh and brothers, Billie and Michael McCormick. She is survived by her children, Marsha (Bill) Kaforey of Marco Island, FL, Meshal Welsh and Mitchal (Lisa) Welsh, all of Gainesville, FL; sisters, Dorothy (Ferd) TrenKamp of Gainesville, FL and Kay (Eugene) Belew of Powell, OH; brother, Darrell McCormick of Dry Ridge, KY; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street
