Nathan Benjamin Snodgrass' Obituary
Nathan Benjamin Snodgrass, age 25, of Gainesville died unexpectedly at his family’s home on Sunday, February 25, 2018. He was born November 20, 1992 in Gainesville, Florida to Drs. Gregory D. and Natalie Colapelle Snodgrass. He graduated from Buchholz High School, where he played football. He briefly pursued a football career at the collegiate level which he had to discontinue due to injury. He had an incredibly caring energy and will be remembered for his compassionate spirit. Nathan was also a loving and loyal son.
He is survived by his parents, Drs. Gregory and Natalie Snodgrass; maternal grandmother, Nancy Long; maternal grandfather, Mario Colapelle; sister, Dr. Christa Morris and her husband, Ryan Morris of Gainesville; brother, Josh Snodgrass and his wife, Dr. Alexandra Snodgrass of Raleigh, NC, and niece, Evelyn Morris. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Doy and Doll Snodgrass.
A Celebration of Nathan’s Life will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Abundant Grace Community Church, 12505 NW 39th Avenue, with Pastor Phil Courson officiating. Burial will follow in Countryside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to the Lions Eye Institute for Transplant & Research, 1410 N 21st St, Tampa, FL 33605.
