Natalee Phelps Cunningham's Obituary
Natalee Phelps Cunningham, 88, of Gainesville, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in the E. T. York Hospice Care Center.
She was born in Ridgewood, NJ on February 18, 1926, daughter of the late Earle B. and Helen Ellis Phelps, and grew up in Riverdale, NY. She graduated as a registered nurse from Columbia University-Presbyterian Hospital in New York in 1947. She has lived in Gainesville for many years and was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dudley H. Cunningham.
She is survived by sons Dudley (Chip) Cunningham and wife Paula of Stuart, Bruce Cunningham and wife Kelly of Gainesville, Gary Cunningham and wife Vanessa of St. Augustine, Greg Cunningham and wife Paula Jean of Gainesville, daughter Lynn Balck and husband Lars Balck of Asheville, NC, nephew Robert E Cunningham of Gainesville, nieces Donna Miller of Gainesville, and Leslie Cunningham of Apopka and eleven grandchildren.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 4 to 6 P.M., in the Tower Club Bistro of the North Florida Retirement Village (The Village), at 7805 NW 28th Place, Gainesville. Interment services will be held privately in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606
