Age 68, Daughter of the late George F. Young, Il and Lula Mae Duncan Young peacefully surrendered to the Will of God on April 12, 2025, in Gainesville, Florida surrounded by family. She was employed for many years as a Solder 2 (Electrical Assembly Technician) at Invivo Diagnostic Imaging, formerly known as Phillips Technology. She then worked part time as a cashier at Dollar Tree and remained employed until her time of transitioning. She loved GOD with all of her heart. She enjoyed singing, fellowshipping and encouraging others along life’s journey. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Overcomers International, Gainesville, Florida where her daughter Pastor Winter Brown McOyett serves as pastor. She served as an Evangelist, Church Mother, Praise Team Leader, Women’s Ministry Leader, etc. She loved her family and church family alike. She also enjoyed eating out at her two most favorite restaurants, Longhorn Steakhouse and Cedar River. The employees saw her as family. She was a graduate of Adullam Bible College and received her Associates Degree in Biblical Studies in 2022.
The Homegoing Celebration will be held at 12:00p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Miracle Vision True Believers. 18680 NE 75th St, Williston, FL 32696 where the pastors are Bishop Carl and Pastor Angelia Carnegie with her Sister-in-Law State Supervisor, Pastor, Dr. LaShon Young giving words of comfort. The repast will be held from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. at D.R. Williams Fellowship Hall located at 628 NW 7th Avenue Gainesville.

Sister - Frankie Young Scott of Gainesville, FL Brothers - Willie Lee Young of Pompano, FL, Prophet George Young Ill (& Pastor Tracey) and Elder Edward Earl Young Sr. of Gainesville, FL; in-laws - State Supervisor, Pastor, Dr. LaShon Young of Gainesville, Florida, Mary Martin-Bryant (& Bill), Geraldine Brown, Minister Rubina Johnson (& John) all of St. Petersburg, FL; Reverend Angelia Cole (& Deacon Charles), Anita Brown, all of Bellevue, Nebraska. Nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren, friends and a special and devoted friend Minister Ruby Lang.
