Aunt Myrt is an incredible woman. My transition to adulthood wasn't smooth (mostly because of my own foolishness). On more than one occasion I spent time visiting with her at her newsstand during that time. She always had time to talk and share her wisdom. We are so fortunate to have had her in our lives.
"You gonna miss this old lady when she's gone" Nanny would always say. She just didn't tell me how much! Fly High Nanny! I know that you are probably up there catching up with more than a few people we lost here and heaven gained! I love you more than any words I could ever post on this page!
Myrtle was my Sister-In-Law. She was married to my brother Shorty Thomas. I have known Myrtle most of my life. She was always a hard worker and was not afraid to tackle any task. She loved all of her family and I loved her. She had such a hearty laugh. She will be missed. May God Bless her. She certainly deserves a place in Heaven.
