Myrtice Christine Glover's Obituary
Myrtice Christine Glover, 80, went to meet her Heavenly Father on October 26, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family at Haven Hospice in Gainesville.
The youngest of six children, she was born to Emory and Martha Frost on May 6, 1938 in Swainsboro, Georgia
She lived and worked in Swainsboro and had a career in sales until she retired and moved to Gainesville in 1991. Known to her grandchildren and many friends as Big Momma, she considered family her greatest accomplishment in life and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her sons Robert Glover and Charles Smith and daughter, Linda Sims. She is survived by her sister, Fanny Stockard; three children: Jimmy Smith, Martha Lamb (Michael), and Tina Marsh (Bobby); twelve grandchildren: Tasha Cooper (Brennan), Shane Lamb, Bobby Newsome (Stephanie), Ashley Newsome, Cory Newsome, Haley Jones (A.J.), Jesse Glover, Andrea Sims, Dilan Marsh (Cassie), Christina Marsh, Emily Morris, and Keaton Morris; and five great-grandchildren: Jaleria Jones, Ali Newsome, Carson Glover, Sadie Glover, and Brayley Marsh.
A Graveside Service will be held Monday, October 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Laurel Hill Cemetery, 14028 SW 174th Street, Archer, FL. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street, Newberry.
