Myrth Johnson's Obituary
Myrth Johnson, 82, of Waldo passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 in North Florida Regional Medical Center. She was born May 18, 1933 in Bell, Florida to Lacy and Alla Mae Taylor Locklear. She loved to cross stitch. She was a food service worker at Waldo Community School, and a longtime member of The Pentecostals Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Johnson, Jr., and brothers, Warden and Wyatt Locklear. She is survived by her children, Jack Johnson (Vicki) of Gainesville, David Johnson (Maegen) of Laurel Hill, FL, Deborah Johnson (Chris) of Waldo, and Pauline Coleman (Russell) of Waldo; her sister, Wanda Frye of Bell, and her children, Bill, Vernon, and Nancy; 23 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 N Main Street, with Rev. J.W. Arnold officiating. Burial will be private for family only. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
