Mrs. Vivian Louise Elliott's Obituary
Mrs. Vivian Louise Elliott, a beloved resident of Gainesville, Florida, peacefully departed from this world on Tuesday, December 19th, 2023, in the comfort of her home. Born in Maryville, TN, on May 15, 1952, to the late James and Kay LaMon, Mrs. Elliott had called Gainesville home for the past 42 years.
She embraced the role of homemaker with grace and dedication, finding solace in the warmth of her family. Mrs. Elliott was a devoted member of the Episcopal faith, and her life was marked by a deep passion for history and interior design. Her gentle spirit and infectious sense of humor illuminated the lives of those fortunate enough to cross her path.
A beacon of kindness, elegance, and generosity, Mrs. Elliott possessed infinite patience and an unparalleled ability to make others feel special. Her empathy touched the hearts of many, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. In the tapestry of her life, she wove threads of joy, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her son Brian Elliott in 2014.
She is survived by her former husband John Elliott, of Gainesville; daughter, Ashley Elliott Lewis, of Gainesville; two sons, Bradley Elliott, and Mitchell (Ruby) Rase, both of Gainesville; one stepson, Chris Elliott (Athena), of Denver, CO; one grandson, Jack Lewis; and two step-grandchildren, Elin and Lane Elliott.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 2:00 P. M. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 100 NE 1st Street, Gainesville. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
