Mrs. Linda Tillman Plummer's Obituary
Mrs. Linda Tillman Plummer, daughter of the late Moses Tillman, Sr. and Willie Jean Tillman, was born July 28, 1962 in Lake City, Florida. She attended the public schools of Columbia County, graduating in 1981 from Columbia High School. For the past 31 years, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined The Pentecostals of Gainesville Church where she was a dedicated and faithful member and she served faithfully in several roles for many years.
As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her Christian life was a center point in her life and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She peacefully departed this life Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Lake City Medical Center, Lake City, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Willie Jean Tillman, Moses Tillman, Sr., sisters, Kleather Tillman, Loraine Springs, Diann Springs and brother, Steven Lee.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband, Kim Plummer of Gainesville, FL; children, Kari Plummer of Jacksonville, FL, Trey Plummer and Brooklyn Plummer of Gainesville, FL and Alexis Plummer of Ashland, KY. She also leaves behind her siblings, Nannette Tillman and John Lee, both of Gainesville, FL and Moses Tillman of Lake City, FL as well as a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pentecostals of Gainesville with Pastor Jimmy Toney officiating. The family will receive friends, Friday, November 18, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Downtown.
