Mr. Jerome Perry "Roamer" Parrish's Obituary
Mr. Jerome Perry “Roamer" Parrish, 80, of Hawthorne, Florida, died Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at his home, following a long illness.
Mr. Parrish was born in Waldo, Florida on April 5, 1943, to the late Perry and Floy Parrish. He lived in many different places over his life, earning him the nickname “Roamer”, having lived in Maine, in Brooksville, Florida and other places, before returning to Hawthorne to stay in 2010. Mr. Parrish had worked as a forklift operator and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a avid reader and was an artist.
He is survived by his sister, Vergie Hecht, of Hawthorne; a niece, Becky Brady; two nephews, Eddie Albritton and Sid Albritton, along with numerous great nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 11:00 A. M., at Saluda Cemetery, Orange Heights, Florida. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 10:30 A. M.
