Mr. Jack William Maas' Obituary
Mr. Jack William Maas, 66, longtime resident of Gainesville, Florida, died Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in the North Florida Regional Medical Center, Gainesville.
Mr. Maas was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on August 4, 1956, to the late Richard and Mary Maas. He had lived in Gainesville since 1977, and for many years owned and operated Rainbow Produce, for 32 years until retiring in 2021. Mr. Maas was a devout Christian and enjoyed playing golf in his spare time.
He is survived by his companion of over 43 years, Genia Himes; two brothers, Jeff (Christie) Maas and Jim Maas; one sister, Jill (Keith) Wright; a niece and great niece Shannon and Shae Grossman; a nephew Jeremy Gonigam along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
