Mr. Gregory D. Brown's Obituary
Mr. Gregory D. Brown was born in Roanoke, VA on Oct. 28, 1960, and passed away peacefully at home on June 25, 2026, after an extended illness.
Greg was preceded in death by his father Henry Cecil Brown, mother Grace Webb Gilmore, stepfather Billy Gilmore, sister Teresia (Jay), mother-in- law Carol Dagan (John) and sister-in-law Kim Dagan Payne.
He is survived by his loving wife Pat and daughter Christine (Mike) Miller, sister Dawn (Kenny)Parrish, father-in-law John Dagan, sisters-in-law Pam Moorman, Carol Dagan and Kelly Johns. Greg was the proudest grandfather of four grandchildren and one great-grand child.
He was employed by Kroger for 26 years. He loved his work and the friends he made there. After retiring from Kroger he was employed by ECS for 10 years.
Greg had a great love for cooking, hunting, guns and fishing. He was able to enjoy all of these while cooking for a hunt camp in Highland County, Va. at which he had made many good friends.
Pat would like to extend special thanks and gratitude to sisters Pam, Carol, Kelly and Wanda for their love and support during Greg's extended illness.
Pat also extends thanks to Plaza Rehab for their commitment to Greg's health and wellbeing.
Also many thanks to Haven Hospice, especially Cynthia Mansfield for their incredible care, comfort and endless concern during the most difficult time.
