Can you imagine leaving your family and country and coming to America with the new love of your life? That is strength!! Monica was always the pillar of strength. She was beautiful, gracious and loving. I have always had great admiration for her. Her children were everything to her and she lived for those grandchildren. George had so much love and respect for her. I am glad they will be reunited. May God bless your family and bring you peace. You shared a mother and grandmother like no other. Relish those memories.

When I first met Monika I struck by how beautiful and gracious she was and how she always looked at George with such love ( even when she was impatience with him as he worked his way through the drill field and then parking lot at the Gator games!). i thought to myself, this is an incredible woman. Then I met Catherine and Grier - they are her legacy of love.

I remember her as a wonderful mother who loved her children. One who hung her children's decorated cookies on her beautifully decorated Christmas tree - even Grier's black ones, with pride.

Monika and I were good friends in the Jaycee wives days and George and I worked together while he was developing subdivisions. Always loved them both and my thoughts and prayers are with her family.

We met Monika when our daughter, Amy, became engaged to her son Grier.

She and her husband, George, were so gracious to us. They entertained us at a Gator game and we enjoyed a lovely luncheon in their home. We quickly became family!

We will always remember Monika as a very giving and thoughtful person. We are grateful to have had her in our lives.

Our prayers are with Grier and Catherine.

I first met Monika through George her husband in 1986. He would come in our store and always pick out monikas gifts ahead of their anniversary or birthdays etc because of his schedule in Tallahassee.
I thought how lucky Monika was to have a husband that was so loving and thoughtful . Then I meet Monika in person . Wow , she was beautiful !! Just as beautiful on the inside as out. She was kind and gracious. She loved her family and that was her whole life. We are so thankful to have known Monika and George and they will live our hearts forever !!
To Grier and Catherine we are so sorry for the loss of your precious Mother. If there's anything you need we are here for you.
