Miriam Joyce Beard Berry's Obituary
Miriam Joyce Beard Berry, age 92, of Hawthorne, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026. She was born on July 21, 1933, in Tampa, Florida, to James E. and Daisy B. Joyner Beard.
Miriam was a loving mother who enjoyed cooking for her family and was a devoted caregiver to her husband. She also found great joy in serving as a Sunday school teacher.
She is survived by her son, Michael Berry and Kathy Berry; daughter-in-law, Debbie Berry; grandchildren, Justin Berry and Megan Berry, Jim and Marcy Berry, Jennifer and Christopher Baldwin, and Matthew Berry and Patricia Walker; and great-grandchildren, Lillian Berry, Cecelia Berry, Blake Baldwin, and Paige Baldwin.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, James Edgar Berry, Jr.; her sons, Kenneth Berry and Steven Berry; and her brothers, Jimmy Beard and Noel Beard.
A graveside service to honor the life of Miriam will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Hawthorne Cemetery, 23350 SE Hawthorne Rd., Hawthorne, FL.
